People tend to view perfectionism as both good and bad. Wanting to have perfect lifts and perfect performance and perfect habits is great, what's not to like? But there seems to be this obsessive side that is counterproductive. Is perfectionism good or bad?
Start off talking about how this very topic has prevented me from making videos
perfect is the enemy of good
practice makes perfect
that person has perfect technique
perfect performance.
Perfection is idolized.
but oh wait, no it isn't. Being a perfectionist is also viewed as a negative.
Perfectionism may contain both adaptive and maladaptive features.
